I got this bag that's a cooler (beer anyone?) so after the beer's gone I got the idea to throw my dreamcast in there, right on top of an APC UPS... ok, worked well, except it would heat up a lot: work-around is to have the DC sitting vent-up and of course having the bag open when run for a while. The kit allows the dreamcast to boot into DC Playa as I'm walking to my car... by the time I get in and plug it in to my stereo it's booted and playing music for me. Since I already have an AC outlet in my car (inverter) I can just plug the UPS into it and let it charge it's internal 12v battery. I could also hook the car's or solar 12v system and the UPS's 3.2 AH 12v battery together to let it charge and supply the power to run the dreamcast and LCD screen if I didn't have an AC outlet.
