the dreamcast plugs in to the inverter and the A/V cable in the "middle" back seat so there's still room for 2 people in the back ;-) Besides the probability of theft, I have to bring the Dreamcast inside with me, to prevent condensation from forming in it. A much smaller inverter could be used for this setup, I chose a 3-400 watt model that was on sale, but there are cheaper 75 watt models that plug into a lighter socket "outlet". The Dreamcast is rated 28 watts maximum consumption, reasonable for use in a car. |
